- 750g- rice
- 4 - bay leaves
- 12- cloves
- 2tbsp- ghee
- 12- green cardamom pods
- 2- cassia bark
- 2tbsp- fennel seeds
- 1tbsp- cumin seeds
- 2- brown cardamom pods
- 2- star anise
- 1425ml-water (boiling)

Directions
1. Wash the rice.
Wash and drain the rice.
2. Stir fry the spices.
Heat the ghee in a large, thick-based saucepan and stir-fry the spices.
3. Add the rice.
Add the rice and stir gently, then add the boiling water and stir around.
4. Cover the saucepan.
Cover the saucepan and lower the heat.
5. Fluff the rice.
When the rice is ready, remove it from the heat and fluff it up with a fork.
