- 10- basil leaves
- 1kg- plum tomatoes
- 200ml- extra virgin olive oil
- 200g- bacon lardons
- 2tbsp- tomato puree
- 2- cloves of garlic
- 4- medium hot chillies
- 2- onions
- salt to taste
- parmesan shavings

Directions
1. Sauté.
Sauté the onions, garlic, and chilli. Add the lordons and cook until golden.
2. Thicken the sauce.
Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato puree to the saucepan. Season with salt.
3. Cook the pasta.
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water. Drain using a colander.
4. Mix.
Add the basil to the sauce and mix in the drained pasta.
5. Serve.
Serve with shaving of parmesan.
